072111. Since I typed Tuesday's post, I’ve found myself trying to make the moniker “LG” stick for the other little one who’s going to be joining our family in a few months.
It’s not working.
I don’t dig it.
It’s too clunky.
It’s a t-shirt size.
And it makes me think of a steakhouse near my parents’ house.
It’s just not what I hear in my head when I talk about him (especially to myself).
Regardless of who I’m talking to or what I’m saying … what I hear is “OLO” … the “Other Little One.”
But I don’t want you to think he’s just “other.”
Because, obviously, he’s his own person.
But he’s not the LO.
Who is our original Little One.
And I don’t like the idea of referring to him as SLO (the “second little one”).
Or LOB (the “little one’s brother”).
He’s not LOLO (the “little one’s little one”).
He’s the “Other Little One.”
Singularly … significantly … other than the LO.
So … I think he’ll probably be OLO from now on.
We’ll see...
Hey! Just wanted to say that I think that I love you after your last comment on my blog. So sweet and makes me think that if we knew each other IRL we would be fast friends. :)

Incidentally, LOB is loads better than SOB . . . don't you think?! :)
OLO is good though, but if you add another L you could have LOLO which is a fun word to say.

If we ever meet IRL, I hope we would be! I love your blog! and HAHAHAHA ... LOB is way better than SOB. :)
I also considered SOLO ... but Hans has that name and I didn't want him to feel like he was in competition.
