072211. Bigg-ish news on the homefront-thing ...
I just found out that the contractor (who's representing the seller) on the house we really want ...
You know ...
The perfect one that I showed you on Monday? ...
Yeah ...
That one ...
Anyway ...
That contractor is available to meet with me tomorrow morning to go over some of the details that we wanted to discuss (like who tears down the old farmhouse that's riddled with asbestos and not pictured above and how much does it cost kind of thing ... and who owns the water rights ... and who's leasing some of the land from the current owners and ... what are they doing with it and how ironclad is their lease and do we have to keep them on as tenants kind of thing).
So ...
Yeah ...
Tomorrow morning is exciting ...
And nerve-wracking ...
Because the Cowboy's still in Pittsburgh (argh, this is a long show he's working on!).
So it's on me to get to the bottom of some of this stuff ... and to take a ton more pictures (which I promise to share) ... so the Cowboy can see more of the beauty and spectacle and awesomeness (and sweat equity) that will go into this place ... so we can make it to the next step ... which I guess would be making an official offer?
Anyway ... that means I'm turning to you all AGAIN ... for another set of good thoughts ... because seriously ... I'm totally not kidding ... you want to visit us here. And the only way to do that is for us to own it :)
