These past few months have not only been a gift, they have also been an incredible and transformative experience -- physically, mentally and spiritually. And during the next 6 weeks I will be faced with taking a written exam (something I haven't done since taking the LSAT 6 years ago -- which I never used to apply to law school. I guess I didn't really want to be a lawyer), teaching a practicum (more on that in the next paragraph), and turning in oodles of homework that's been building up since October. It's actually hard to believe that the classes are nearing completion.
(I wish I knew how to make text wrap around photos ... sigh)
As I mentioned, I'm getting closer and closer to having to take my practicum (aka, teach a class for my teachers - who happen to be four of the preeminent teachers of Kundalini Yoga IN THE WORLD!), which is a tad daunting.
So, I'm renting a space in Hollywood for 2 hours on Saturday, March 27th to "practice my practicum" and am hoping anyone in reading (or at least driving) distance can make it. I'll be teaching an Introduction to Kundalini* Yoga class. Here are the details:
Introduction to Kundalini Yoga

*a little about Kundalini Yoga -- Kundalini Yoga is for everyone who has to cope with the daily challenges and stresses of holding jobs, raising families and managing businesses. The practice of Kundalini Yoga combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures in a precise, conscious manner to affect body, mind and soul. Using this ancient technology can help alleviate the stress … defeat the depression … and ease the anxiety that comes with living in this hi-tech, high-stress, high-anxiety age. You don't need to be in perfect shape. You don't need to be a daily practitioner. In fact, it's even okay if you've never done yoga before.
To quote Yogi Bhajan: "The Power of Kundalini Yoga lies in the actual experience. It goes right into your heart and extends your consciousness so you may have a wider horizon of grace and knowing the truth."
Bring friends! It's a big space and it would be great to fill it!
(see what I mean? Big space. Lots of room. For lots of people!)
Hope to see you there!
Sat Nam!
And peace out ...
