010712. I don’t know about you, but I depend on miracles.
I believe in them.
I pray for them.
I rely on them.
Daily.
Little miracles.
Like when the Little One decides without prompting to try the white bean and kale soup I made for dinner and she like it. A lot.
Lovely miracles.
Like when the Little Man decides to sleep 5 hours through the night … 3 nights in a row ... and I get to wake up feeling more rested than I have in months.
And major, gigantor humungo whopping miracles.
Like when a gifted neurosurgeon puts an electrode along the brain stem of your SuperStepDad, waits three weeks for the swelling to go down, then turns on the power and all of the SSD’s Parkinson’s tremors disappear. His facial expressions return … and with them, the light in his eyes, his sense of humor, and all of our hope for the future.
Thank God for miracles, big and small.
Sat Nam,
YC
P.S. I'll be posting the 40-day meditation tomorrow so we can start on Monday ... in case you'd like to join in the fun :)

I need to start meditating (or so says my doctor) so maybe I'll do it with you. Is it easy?

Yay! That's wonderful news! I'm so happy for him and your whole family - a miracle indeed. Looking forward to starting the meditation tomorrow. I've been doing it here and there but not disciplined, so I'm ready for more focus. :)
